As of September 2019, I have enrolled at The Glasgow School of Art on the PhD programme within the School of Fine Art. I will be studying part-time for a practice-based PhD, researching the connection between language, sculpture and place. My Project Title is:
’Making Words Matter – materialising minority language as contemporary sculptural practice in a shifting European.’
I’m very excited to be studying again in such an illustrious and dynamic Art School, with a great supervisory team, very supportive staff, great facilities and connections across other universities and research networks. As my study will be practice-based I will continue to work as an artist and will be researching my field of inquiry through my own work, in the studio and in the field.
During the first semester (until December 2019) I will be undertaking the Research Degrees Training Programme, along with this year’s cohort of PhD/ MPhil students.
